This active lighthouse dates from 1877 and sits on top of a rugged outcropping overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Access to the lighthouse is from the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, down a one mile long road and across a suspension bridge. The lighthouse is open from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays. Evening tours are set to resume in May 2022 and will require reservations. The tour fees are $16 for adults, $10 for children, and $8 for seniors.
