Italian Film Festival at Dominican University

Presented by Lido Cantarutti, the Italian Film Festival started out as an informal one-time only presentation of Italian movies in a college lecture hall. Now celebrating 45 years, the Italian Film Festival of Marin County is on Saturdays from October 7 - November 4, 2023. Mr. Cantarutti has presnted appearances from Italian film directors and composers, dignitaries of the Italian and Italian-American communities, and an authentically Italian atmosphere at every presentation.
All films are in Italian or original language with subtitles in English. All films are suggested for mature audiences.
"Like a Cat on a Highway - Back to Cocchia di Morto" ("COME UN GATTO IN TANGENZIALE -- RITORNO A COCCIA DI MORTO") is a 2021 comedy in color and lasts 110 minutes. Directed by Riccardo Millani, with Paola Cortellesi, Antonio Albanese, Luca Argentero and Sarah Fellerbaun
A sequel to Festival favorite "Come un gatto in tangenziale", featuring the two heavy-set kleptomaniac twin sisters and Paola Cortellesi as Monica. When Monica ends up in jail, she calls Giovanni for help. To get Monica out of prison, Giovanni succeeds in replacing her detention with community service in a Catholic shelter in Rome led by Don Davide, who is as handsome as he is pious.
