Italian Film Festival at Dominican University

Presented by Lido Cantarutti, the Italian Film Festival started out as an informal one-time only presentation of Italian movies in a college lecture hall. Now celebrating 45 years, the Italian Film Festival of Marin County is on Saturdays from October 7 - November 4, 2023. Mr. Cantarutti has presnted appearances from Italian film directors and composers, dignitaries of the Italian and Italian-American communities, and an authentically Italian atmosphere at every presentation.
All films are in Italian or original language with subtitles in English. All films are suggested for mature audiences.
"The Perfect Dinner" ("LA CENA PERFETTA") is a 2022 comedy drama in color and lasts 106 minutes:

Carmine is a good-hearted fellow who runs a money-laundering restaurant. Consuelo is a chef in search of culinary perfection. They discover a mutual love for food and dream of winning a Michelin star. This odd relationship gives them both a second chance and an opportunity for redemption.
