Water Safety Fair at U.S. Coast Guard Station, Golden Gate Bridge

A kick-off event for National Safe Boating Week, the Water Safety Fair is hosted by U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12 (Sausalito-Tiburon), with support from Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14 (Central Marin) and Eleventh District Northern Region members.

• Meet friendly Search & Rescue Dogs
• Play with “Coastie” the Remotely Operated Vehicle
• Learn knot tying & how to throw heaving lines
• Interactive Cliff Rescue demonstrations
• Practice your marine radio communications skills
• Clean Boating Kit giveaways
• Paddle Craft Safety & free ID Stickers
• Helicopter Rescue Swimmer demonstration (unless called away on duty)
