Fresh Start Chef Event with Chef Duskie Estes and Dave the Butcher at The Key Room

Chef Duskie Estes of Black Pig Meat Co. and Dave Budworth of Victorian Farmstead Meat Co. team up for an evening that spotlights sustainably raised pork. Menu details coming soon! The chef, with husband John Stewart, raise free-range animals for “snout-to-tail” products, including bacon that media star Oprah Winfrey included in one of her annual “favorite things” lists.
Dave Budworth, aka Dave the Butcher, is a longtime educator and expert in the meat world. He appeared as a judge on “The Butcher,” a History Channel series, and currently can be found carving prime meats with one of the North Bay’s top-rated purveyors.
Join us to hear about Chef Duskie's culinary adventures, which include appearances on Food Network's "The Next Iron Chef" and her current work as executive director of Farm to Pantry in Sonoma County. If you have meat-related questions, Dave the Butcher has answers for you!
Your reservation includes two glasses of wine from our selection. All proceeds benefit shelter, housing and training programs at Homeward Bound of Marin.
Individual tickets are $100 each. Half Table and Full Table offerings are also available.
