Midsummer Making Workshop with Karen Kuwatini at Marin Art and Garden Center

One of my favorite creative activities is to gather with people, preferably outside, to make intricately tactile objects. In this outdoor workshop each maker will receive instructions for beginning wire work, multiple wire colors, a beautifully unique handmade bead element and tools to borrow.
As a Marin native, from an early age I had a strong desire to design, and my first creative collections consisted of jewelry and clothing, and more recently home accessories. One of my intentions is to capture a certain mix of color, texture and charm. Hope you will join me and be botanically inspired to create your own wire charm to take home.
