Intro to SUP Group Lessons at 101 Surf Sports

Are you interested in learning how to Stand up paddleboard? Sign up now! We offer group lessons every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 12:00 noon.
101 Surf Sports is located right on the water in sunny San Rafael with dock access to the water.
We cover the basics, beginning with understanding tides and winds. Then we work on the best way to stand up on your board as well as covering various paddle stroke techniques in addition to water safety. When you are done with the lesson you are welcome to paddle for as long as you like, that way you can enjoy your new found skills as a paddleboarder!
The recommended attire would be fast drying clothing (not cotton) as well as layers on cooler mornings. A hat, sunscreen and something to drink are perfect to bring along, we also offer those items for sale at the shop. We have free lockers available for your belongings as well.
Group size max is 6 and the minimum age is 12. We can accommodate private lessons if you prefer, just give us a call at the shop to arrange it.
Cost is $65 per person and we can only accommodate online bookings for group lessons in the above website link.
