Eos Ensemble Celebrates 190 Years of Johannes Brahms at Marin Art & Garden Center

The Eos Ensemble returns to the Studio for an encore performance celebrating the 190th birthday of Johannes Brahms (1833–97). The Ensemble will present the complementary works to last year’s acclaimed performance: the Viola Quintet in F Major, op. 88, sometimes called “The Spring,” with its rich folk tunes and fresh colorful melodies; and the String Sextet in G Major, written almost 20 years earlier when he was 31.
