California Cheese Trail Map
Originally known as The Sonoma Marin Cheese Trail, and updated to the California Cheese Trail. Created by Vivien Straus and co-facilitated with brother Michael Straus as an early project of the Marin Economic Forum, this is a map to meet the cheesemakers, go on farm tours, taste cheese, and tell you where artisan cheese can be found if you cannot visit the farm.
Now, the California Cheese Trail map is a comprehensive resource for lovers of California artisan cheese. Discover cheesemakers using our interactive map, attend educational and fun events, browse our new cheese directory, and find the nearest cheese shop.
Cheese Trail maps can be found at all the open-to-the-public cheese retail locations, including Marin French Cheese Company, Nicasio Valley Cheese Company and Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company in Marin. In addition and especially, if you need multiple cheese trail maps for a special group, please consider stopping by the Marin CVB office, but please call first to ensure someone is availabe and setup a time to pickup maps: 415-925-2060
