The Bay Area is a sports fan’s paradise. Love football? We’ve got the Raiders and 49ers. Big Baseball fan? Check out the A's and Giants. Plus the Warriors and Sharks, oh my! And in Marin County, there are plenty of game-ready places where you can cheer on your favorite teams while enjoying great grub and delicious drinks. From casual brewhouses to cozy taverns, here are some of Marin County’s best spots to watch the biggest games.

Perry's Novato

Newly opened this year, Perry’s Novato serves up a classic American menu with a casual, and lively dining atmosphere. A bustling bar and the warmth and personality for which the restaurant has always been known have resulted in a warm, enthusiastic welcome from the local community. Perry's features options for both indoor and outdoor dining with a cozy fireplace in both areas. For game-viewing purposes, check out the large bar with three big screen TVs for watching your favorite sport while noshing on appetizers and pints of your favorite beer.

Marinitas

Not a huge beer fan? No worries! Marinitas has you covered. Serving up Latin-focused cuisine, the menu is inspired by dishes typical of Mexico and Latin America. For Super Bowl Sunday, the restaurant went all out for patrons. Between the large projector screens and flat-screen TVs, every table had a great view of the game. Marinitas also offers discounts on cocktails and tacos all day, so you certainly won't go hungry here! The lively atmosphere makes this a fun party spot for large groups and hardcore sports fans alike. Win or lose, we guarantee you’ll be in a celebratory mood at Marinitas.

Floodwater

Built By Locals, For Locals. Mill Valley Family owned & operated. Committed to delivering something Marin has never seen before.
Floodwater is a bar-driven restaurant designed to allure the community with our enticing social atmosphere, uniquely balanced cocktails, and elegantly approachable Californian menu. Saddle up to our 30-seat bar for a frosty beverage and catch the game on any of many TVs, grab a table with all your friends under the 40-foot trussed ceiling of our modern-rustic Great Room, or cozy up with a date in our intimately lit Den on overstuffed couches & armchairs.

The Flatiron

With an extensive menu and all the sports channels you could dream of, The Flatiron in San Rafael is the perfect spot to take in the game with a friend – or 40. The Flatiron has plenty of TVs, but if you and your team want to go big, you can reserve the back room with its 80-inch television and room for up to 40 guests. The food, drinks and sports aren’t the only reasons locals flock to The Flatiron. They also host Brainstormer Trivia every Tuesday night as well as First Friday Night Lights, a cover-free music night the first Friday of every month featuring DJ Beset and special guests.

HopMonk Tavern

Grab a beer (or several) at HopMonk Tavern in Novato. Start off with a sampling of the small plates, like the Tavern Samosas (curried onions, black beans, roasted peppers, pumpkin seeds and sweet corn wrapped in a crunchy wonton, served with cilantro chutney) or the grilled artichoke. The Tavern Fries/Garlic Fries are always a hit, too. For beer, we suggest ordering one of the special brews: the HopMonk Kellerbier, the HopMonk Tavern Ale, the HopMonk Dunkelweizen or the HopMonk IPA. Cheer for your favorite team as you view the game on the tavern’s big screen.
