Discover Scenic Marin
Take the Path Less
Traveled
There was a time when ferries were the only way to get in and out of Marin County. The Golden Gate Bridge made it possible to live in beautiful Marin and work in San Francisco, the financial hub of the West Coast. Today, Marin County has a strong public and privately operated transportation network. There are about as many modes of transportation available within Marin County as there are destinations to visit!
A wisely planned trip benefits us all; reduces your stress level, alleviates congestion on small town surface streets, and spares the air for everyone! Also, it allows you to enjoy more of our beautiful County with the time saved by not sitting in, or contributing to, highway and road congestion.
We encourage you to use the following contacts to help plan your travel within Marin County.
