Take in the vistas of Angel Island State Park for the day. The island is a beautiful historic site located in the San Francisco Bay and is a short ferry ride away from Tiburon. Once there, visitors can choose a number of ways to get around the island. The Angel Island Company offers TramTours, bike rentals, electric bikes and Segway Tours. Have lunch at the Cove Cafe & Cantina located right at the dock, then peddle your way to the United States Immigration Station on the other side of the island. Thousands of mostly Asian immigrans were processed through this station in the late nineteenth century. 2012 is the year the island is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The landmark is newly renovated and is now open to the public with docent led tours Wednesday through Sunday.
