The Marin Convention & Visitors Bureau (MCVB) is a private 501-c6 organization that promotes Marin County as a conference and visitor destination. We currently represent nine Marin communities: Corte Madera, Fairfax, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Novato, San Anselmo, San Rafael, Tiburon, and the West Marin Visitors Bureau / Point Reyes. Specific lodging properties within each community are automatic members, based on a self assessment tax. Shopping centers, restaurants, attractions, tour charters and other businesses are current partners. All members and partners are very important to us.
The MCVB is strategically member and partner driven, meaning that we promote and market only those communities and businesses that are official members and partners. We also represent all state and national parks and beaches within Marin County.
Our mission is to develop a sustainable visitor base to Marin County, enhance the local economies, and protect the natural resources through responsible promotion.
