Join us on Thursday, February 1 for 'Downieville: Evolution of a Trail Community', an evening with Greg Williams. What started in the early 1990s as a fledgling bicycle guide and shuttle service for exploring the historic Gold Rush trails of the Lost Sierra, has evolved into the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS). Greg will tell the colorful stories of his ancestral Lost Sierra roots, and how his bike shop Yuba Expeditions and the Downieville Classic—which he founded—gave birth to SBTS. He'll tell about the partnerships and trail projects they're currently working on.

Tickets:

  • $10 per Adult
  • $5 for Students and Marin Museum of Bicycling Members

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the museum (11-5 Thursdays-Sundays), online here and at the door the evening of the event unless the event is sold out. Advanced purchase is highly recommended as this event is expected to sell out! All proceeds benefit the Marin Museum of Bicycling.

Doors open at 6:00 PM; show starts at 7:00 PM. Please arrive before 6:30 PM to have the best chance to get a seat. Online ticket sales end at 5:00 PM the day of the show. Bring your tickets (paper or e-confirmation) for faster check-in. Light food, beer & wine refreshments will be available.
